God, our heavenly Father, never chose whom to bless nor is He a respecter of person by choosing to bless one person more than another. The blessing is God's "light - be" process which simply means God believed it and spoke it into existence.
Everything becomes exactly as God said it which is what happened in Gen. 1:28 which stated that "And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth."(KJV).
